Florida Spaceport 99s
| Hannah is a student at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) in Daytona Beach. She has earned her Commercial and Instrument tickets and is working on her CFI/CFII. Hannah will use our scholarship to work on her multi-engine rating. Hannah is a member of the ERAU flight team which participates in the National Intercollegiate Flying Association (NIFA) competition.; the team placed 2nd this year. She is a member of the 99s and flew in the 2009 Women's Air Race Classic as co-pilot. She and her pilot placed 10th overall and 3rd in the collegiate category. This year she was selected to be pilot in command of the ERAU plane in the Air Race Classic.
Hannah will be graduating from ERAU in the fall of 2010 with a degree in Aeronautical Science. At that time she will start instructing in California, near her home in Forestville. She hopes to one day be a pilot with Solairus Aviation, a corporate aviation company. Update on Hannah: Hannah passed her checkride for the multi engine on December 6th. She finished all her flight courses and has graduated from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. After finishing her finals she got in her car and headed home to California.
